Baby Bro Steez:

Steez means "style with ease" and Sergen Aybars definitely fits the build.  Heavily influenced by his love for hip hop mixed with the preppy edge of the UK, Sergen's style stomps to its own beat on the streets of Toronto. Sneaker head, fitted fiend, graphic T junkie and all around tastemaker this kid knows how to mix it up.  An eye for limited edition anything and one of a kind vintage finds, it's the thrill of the hunt that matches his curating needs. His style advice?  Don't match, who cares about your haircut appointment and don't smell bad.... Thanks bro.

Western Flair:

I once had an old man in a pub come up to me and say that I had a "Kablooie" look to me.  At the time I wasn't sure if I should take that as a compliment or be offended.  Judging by my puzzled look, he further explained that it meant I had a western flair to me.  Although a true bred city girl I'm more of what you call an "all terrain" girl and my style definitely reflects that dynamic.  Lucky for me, western style has had a strong influence in fashion lately, a look which I have always naturally been drawn to and have incorporated in my wardrobe.  From conchos and fringe to ankle boots and bolo ties, western flair has been popping up everywhere.  This embellished blouse is one of my most recent finds thrifting and is evidently on point with the cowboy trend.  Although my accessories compliment the western style of the blouse, by pairing it with some leather pants and having it buttoned down I find gives it more of a modern look without being so hokey.  Just don't expect me to go tipping cows any time soon.

Suddenly I have a huge craving for festival season.  Loving the desert backdrop and the rocker/groupie styling, everything about this shoot is right up my alley.  Finding a classic rockin' graphic tee and cutting it up to call my own is definitely one of my favourite hobbies.  There's a bit of sentimental value behind each one.  Pieces from two of my favourites Sugarhigh + Lovestoned and Spell and The Gypsy Collective alongside Pandeia are mixed in with this lookbook.  Below is a quote from Sugarhigh + Lovedstoned which I can say is the spark that ignited my love when I first discovered them about a year ago:
