Glam Rock:

My closet is composed of 50 shades of black and I don't care.  Black is considered a "safe bet" for most but mixing up textures and patterns with a little glam can make it pop.  Throwing on a rock tee and massive earrings helps too.  One thing's for sure, black will always be sexy and I will be wearing it until the day I die and probably at the funeral...that's not funny.

Black and White:

Black and White is on fire right now and so are these girls.  Sweddish bloggers Fanny Lyckman & Mira & Thilda of 365 Days collab to create this beautiful shoot featuring pieces from Spell and the Gypsy.  Platforms, fur, fringe, flairs and lace..sounds just right.

Time to Shine:

New Years Eve: While everyone was uniform in a sequined cocktail dress or a trusty LBD my beautiful friend Ayana was rockin’ this stand out number.  I was lucky to snap some quick shots before we headed out for our New Years Eve soiree.  Like a true Aquarian,  Ayana has always been one to go against the grain and unequivocally a natural trendsetter - this outfit is a great example of her unique spirit. A little retro homage mixed with today's classic staples, this look is luxurious yet effortlessly chic. Black and white is simply timeless and although Ayana makes it look easy, this take is anything but plain.  She's the girl that throws on a t-shirt and jeans and makes it look like a million bucks...yeah, she's that girl.

Happy 2013 everyone!  Your New Year style resolution? Embrace your individuality and don't be afraid to stand out.

Baby Bro Steez:

Steez means "style with ease" and Sergen Aybars definitely fits the build.  Heavily influenced by his love for hip hop mixed with the preppy edge of the UK, Sergen's style stomps to its own beat on the streets of Toronto. Sneaker head, fitted fiend, graphic T junkie and all around tastemaker this kid knows how to mix it up.  An eye for limited edition anything and one of a kind vintage finds, it's the thrill of the hunt that matches his curating needs. His style advice?  Don't match, who cares about your haircut appointment and don't smell bad.... Thanks bro.
